📜 L’Art de la Vie Retreat – Booking Policy
Please read carefully before confirming your booking.

📅 Retreat Details
Dates: 2pm 4th – 11am 8th May 2026
Location: Châtelus-le-Marcheix, Limousin, France

💳 Deposit & Payment Terms
A £250 deposit per person is required to secure your place.
This applies whether you choose shared or single occupancy.
The remaining balance is due by 1st March 2026.

Payment options:
Pay in full at any time
Or choose a monthly instalment plan (approx. £125/month for 7 months, depending on your room choice)
Details for payment plans will be sent after booking

🛏 Room Booking & Allocation
Rooms are first come, first served.
Booking is not confirmed until your deposit is received and your room choice is agreed by email.
If your chosen room is no longer available, you’ll be offered an alternative or the option to join the waiting list.

Single occupancy is limited and subject to availability.

❌ Cancellations & Refunds
Deposits are refundable only if your place can be filled. If we are able to reallocate your room, we will refund your deposit in full.
If your room cannot be filled, the deposit is non-refundable.

You have a 14 day cooling off period from the time of booking to change your mind and receive a refund. 

For cancellations after the full balance is paid:
More than 90 days before the retreat: 50% refund (minus deposit)
Less than 90 days before the retreat: No refund

You may transfer your booking to another person at any time, subject to approval.

✈️ Travel & Insurance
Travel to and from the retreat is not included in the retreat price.
Transfers are available. 
You are strongly advised to arrange comprehensive travel insurance to cover illness, transport disruption, or cancellation.
If the retreat cannot go ahead due to events beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters or health regulations), you’ll be offered a rescheduled date or credit toward a future retreat.

🧘 Participation & Wellbeing
By booking, you accept full responsibility for your physical and emotional wellbeing during the retreat.
Please inform us of any health conditions, allergies, or accessibility needs at the time of booking.

📧 After Booking
You’ll receive:
A confirmation email
Information on balance payment or monthly plan
A welcome pack closer to the date, with travel details, packing suggestions, and the full retreat schedule
