Cancellation Policy
Pottery Box at Home – Policy & Firing Notes Thank you for choosing a Pottery Box at Home! I take great care with your work, and I want you to know what to expect during the process. 🔥 Firing & Glazing Once your piece is returned to the studio, I will carefully glaze and fire it in a professional kiln. I use a clear glaze to give your pottery a glossy finish and enhance any colours used. 💔 Breakages or Cracks Pottery is a delicate process and, while rare, there is always a small risk of: Cracks developing during drying or firing (especially if the piece is too thick, has air pockets, or was still damp inside) Breakages in transport if the piece is not well supported To minimise this: Please follow the guide closely, especially the drying and thickness tips Transport your piece carefully in the box with padding if needed If you're unsure whether it’s ready to fire, I’m always happy to check Unfortunately, I can’t guarantee against breakages or cracks once a piece goes into the kiln — this is part of the nature of working with real clay and high temperatures. That said, most pieces come out beautifully, and I’ll always do my best to look after your work. 📦 Tool Returns Please return the tools when you drop your piece off for firing, unless you’ve agreed to keep them for another project.
